Celebrate World Architecture Day with the Design Research in Architecture series

Posted on 5th October, 2026

Today is World Architecture Day. To mark the occasion, we’re highlighting the open access Design Research in Architecture series.

Bringing together research from across the world, the series explores how design can generate new knowledge about the built environment. The books examine architectural practice, theory and research, addressing contemporary social, cultural and environmental challenges through innovative approaches to design.
