UCL Press Books Editorial Board
The primary work of the UCL Press Editorial Board is to review proposals and peer review reports for new monographs, edited volumes and book series. To ensure this is effective and in line with UCL’s wider policies, the Board reviews the Press’s policies for the monographs programme, including peer review, research ethics, sustainability of the business model, balance of UCL and non-UCL authors, equality and diversity, and open-access mandates. Academic decision-making is rigorous, made by members who are experienced scholars from a number of UCL faculties, primarily in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. The Board meets once a month and reports to the Chair to UCL Press and Publications Board and other appropriate senior bodies of UCL.
